RECREATE took the stage in showcasing innovations for a sustainable automotive future at Automechanika Frankfurt 2024, taking place from 10th to 14th September.
As part of the Remanufacturing Day, representatives of our consortium partner APRA Europe AISBL, presented the initiative and RECREATE’s research in advancing the re-manufacturing of fiber-reinforced composite materials drew significant attention.
The RECREATE booth featured visuals and detailed information about the project, complemented by a compelling address from Dr. Daniel C. F. Köhler, Chairman of APRA Europe. His speech emphasised the transformative potential of re-manufacturing in the automotive sector, inspiring collaboration among industry leaders.
Automechanika 2024, a global hub for automotive innovation, hosted over 4,200 exhibitors and attracted 108,000 visitors from 172 countries. The event focused on themes such as electrification, sustainable mobility, and the circular economy. Highlights included the Future Mobility Park, interactive workshops on high-voltage vehicle repair, and the unveiling of cutting-edge technologies, reinforcing the theme “Driving Transformation”.
